Your Plan

The White Swan – 17/10/2023

Location: The White Swan

Completed by: Debs Webb

Describe your premises

What type of terrorist attack is likely to occur at the premises?

Have you identified relevant workers who must receive terrorism protection training and ensured it is provided to them?

There are x26 team members that require additional training in addition to the Mable courses in weapon protection and how to manage an unexpected attack- how they should prepare and react.

Who will put the plan into action in the event of an incident? How is the plan and relevant information being communicated to workers at the premises?

The responsible Manager during that shift. If That person is not available then all team members who have been trained to deal with this.

Task 1 – Plan to warn people on the premises than an attack is taking place

i would use a Safe word that all team recognise as an attack - after this is used i would have a safe area for them to get to and remain safe

Task 2 – Plan to lockdown your premises

This is not currently in Place but will be created after training has taken place

Task 3 – Plan to evacuate the premises

We have got an evacuation plan which all of the team are aware of for fire safety. This will have to be moved to a more remote location for an attack

Task 4 - Plan to call the emergency services and relay the necessary information

Posters will be put in place and team made aware where they are and what to do in an attack.

Task 5 – Use available first aid and fire safety equipment

We have standard first aid kits but will order a public trauma one - this will be shown to all team.

Task 6 – Consider how you tell your neighbours or local network aware of your plan and alert them in an attack

We are stand alone with no close neighbours but can contact local businesses to make them aware of new training.
